Registration of a package of documents required for employment of a foreign citizen in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.
You are required to
- Copies of constituent documents of the organization employing the foreign citizen
- A copy of the passport of the foreign citizen for whom a work permit is being issued
- Information on the presence of a valid visa for the citizen for whom a work permit is being issued
- A photo of the citizen for whom the work permit is being issued 3.5X4.5 in electronic form
- Information about the position, salary, region of registration for the employee for whom the work permit is issued

Frequent questions
What types of work permits are there for a foreign citizen in Russia?
An employee temporarily staying in Russia on the basis of a visa will need a special permit for labor activity.
There are the following types of permits:
- Highly qualified specialists - issued when the foreigner receives a salary of at least 167,000 rubles in 1 month. Validity period - up to three years
- Family members of highly qualified specialists - issued jointly with highly qualified specialists, provides for no restrictions on salary
- Other foreigners (except for highly qualified specialists) - issued to visa foreigners for a period of up to 1 year, valid only within one region of the Russian Federation within the current quotas and not subject to renewal
